Leadership provides onging and challenging oppertunities for
self-growth within a meaningful
cicle of others committed to social justice. ICL provides
both manual and intellectual opportunities guaranteed to assit
any serious individual in their efforts to develop servanthood.
Cesar Chavez utilized this term, servanthood, to mean the opposite
of social service. For Cesar, social service means paternalistic
charity to the disenfranchised. Servanthood means changing
yourself in order to assist others in their own change and
empowerment.
